We are pleased to welcome Regina Starnes to the Employer Connections Team in the Career Center as an Employer Connections Coordinator. In this role, Gina will assist in managing the Career Center's Services Management System (CareerBuzz) to support employer recruiting activities. She will also work on developing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with representatives from both prospective and current employers to expand employment opportunities for Georgia Tech students.

Gina Starnes has over 21 years’ professional experience in higher education administration, employer relations, recruitment, sales, and marketing. Gina worked as the Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Mississippi, the Associate Director Employer Relations at the University of Kansas, the Director of Career Services at LSU Shreveport, and the Director of Professional Development for Asian University for Women in Bangladesh.
   
Gina earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Mississippi. She earned her Master of Science in Education with emphasis on Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas. Gina is an advocate of public service and professional development. She served on the Board of Directors for SOACE and worked on committees for SWACE, SACE, KACE, MACE, and LACE. While at the University of Mississippi, Gina presented a session at NACE on employer recruitment and student engagement. She was a member and officer of the Southeastern Federal Recruiters and Colleges Association for several years. Gina served as the Chapter Advisor for Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society for four years at LSUS.
