We are pleased to welcome Dana Pudenz to the Employer Connections Team in the Career Center as an Employer Connections Coordinator. In this role, Dana will be instrumental in coordinating employer relations programs, supporting outreach and development initiatives, and assisting companies with their recruiting activities. She will also guide employers on how to effectively utilize Career Center resources to connect with and recruit Georgia Tech students.
Dana Pudenz joins Georgia Tech from Georgia State University, where she has excelled as a Career Counselor for several years. In her role, she collaborated closely with faculty and industry partners to develop programming that is both relevant and aligned with current trends in the job market, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning. Dana found great satisfaction in guiding students as a subject matter expert, helping them enhance their career competencies throughout their academic journeys. Dana has been active in community initiatives, serving on the Strategic Planning Committee with Achieve Atlanta and participating in a cross-functional team with the Metro Chamber, Georgia Chamber, and Spelman College to enhance career readiness and outcomes for their scholars. Additionally, she served in Career Services at Brenau University where she significantly improved student-employer engagement through the job board and promoted a newly established social media alumni network.
Dana is enthusiastic about the opportunity to further impact students' pursuits of meaningful careers by partnering with diverse employers and enhancing the brand of Georgia Tech's career services. With over 15 years of experience in corporate operations and sales, including international meeting planning and incentive programs, she brings a wealth of practical knowledge to her role.
Her involvement extends to the Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers (GACE), where she is a graduate of the GACE Leadership Institute and has contributed to the Conference Committee for several years. Dana holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Psychology with a specialization in neuroscience and assessments from Brenau University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Tulane University.
